1.3 Practice & Exam Tasks
The practice files for these tasks are located in the Objective 1-3 practice file folder. The folder also contains result files that you can use to check your work.
1. Open the Customers table in Datasheet view. Use the search box to locate the record for The Big Cheese. | |
2. Create a Navigation Pane category named Campaigns , and groups named Campaign Details, Products, and Employees . 2.1 Add the Campaign Expenses, CampaignLanguages, and Marketing Campaigns tables to the Campaign Details group. 2.2 Add the Orders and Products tables to the Products group 2.3 Add the Employees table to the Employees group. |

3. Create a navigation form that has the Vertical Tabs, Left layout. 3.1 Add the TaskDetails form to the navigation form. Save the form (use the default name for this practice task), 3.2 Set the form as the startup form. |
- Open the Access_1-3_Results database. Compare the two databases to check your work. Then close the open databases.
Exam Practice
- Open the Objective_1-3 database again and do the following:
Acc16_ExT_1-3-2_Ex01 | Create a navigation form named Tasks that shows the TaskDetails form on the left-most horizontal tab and the TaskDS form on the right-most horizontal tab. |
Acc16_ExT_1-3-3_Ex01 | Make the current database open with the form named TaskDetails form. Do NOT close the database. |
Acc16_ExT_1-3-4_Ex01 | Unhide the Status table.
