Practice Tasks

The practice file for these tasks is located in the Objective 2-4 practice file folder. The folder also contains a result file that you can use to check your work.

1. Open the PowerPoint_2-4 presentation and do the following:
  1. Select the three shapes on the slide, and align them all with the middle and center of the slide.
  2. Change the stacking order so that the Heart is in front, the Sun second, the Moon third, and the slide title in back.
  3. Distribute the three shapes horizontally on the slide.
  4. Group the three shapes.

2. Save the PowerPoint_2-4 presentation.

3. Open the PowerPoint_2-4_results presentation. Compare the two presentations to check your work.

4. Close the open presentations.


Exam Tasks

Aligning Objects
  • Arrange the images on slide # so that their tops/middles/bottoms/centers/etc are aligned.
  • On slide #, change the alignment of the shapes so that the left/right edge of each shape is aligned to the left/right edge of the top shape.
Stacking and reordering objects
  • Bring the text on slide # in front of the image of ... . Then, send the ... image to the back.
  • On slide #, change the shapes so that they overlap in the following order (from back to front): "ExampleText1", "ExampleText2", "ExampleText3", "ExampleText4".
Grouping objects
  • On slide #, group the Example image and its title.
  • Group the # shapes on slide #.

1. Arrange the images on slide 1 so that their middles are aligned.

2. On slide 2, change the alignment of the shapes so that the left edge of each shape is aligned to the left edge of the top shape.

3. Bring the text on slide 3 in front of the shape of the heart. Then, send the moon shape to the back.
