Exam Tasks
4.3.1 Set timing for transitions
- Change the duration of all transitions to # seconds.
- Set the slide show transition Duration to # seconds for all transitions.
Tips
- Select the slides you need and then apply the duration time. Do not use the Apply To All button as this will apply all transition settings (not just duration).
- To select all the slides you can use: Home tab, Editing group > Select > Select All - just make sure a slide thumbnail is selected, not a slide object.
4.3.2 Set timing and order for animations
- Configure the animations on slide #, so that the image appears on the page before the text appears.
- On slide #, animate the text so that the first line wipes from the left immediately when the slide is shown and each subsequent line wipes from the left # seconds after the previous line.
- Tip: make sure you are familiar with all three tabs of the Effect options dialog box (Effect, Timing, Text Animation).
- Reorder the animation on the images on slide # so that they fly in one by one from right to left.
